As CEO of the Anderson Housing Authority since 2018, Kim inherited a troubled agency with a failing HUD designation — and turned it around completely. Under her leadership, the agency secured over million in grants and restored its standing as a model for the region.

Kim has been named a Target Race by the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee — the official Democratic organization dedicated to winning state legislatures — naming HD-36 one of the most winnable districts in Indiana.
